Coconut Pulao
| Ingredients :
Rice (Basmati preferred)- 1 cup Coconut milk- 2 cups Ginger garlic paste- 2 spoons Green chillies- 2 Onion- 1 big Mint leaves- 6 Corriander leaves- 2 spoons chopped Fresh vegetables- small quantity of carrot,beans,peas, cauli flower cut into small pieces Garam masala- cloves,caradamom,cinnamon, bay leaves Ghee- 3 spoons salt to taste |
Method:
Procedure : Heat ghee in a pan, add garam masala and then add splitted green chillies and then add ginger garlic paste. Wait till the ghee leaves the pan. Add onion and saute till golden brown.now add mint leaves,vegetables and corriander leaves and saute and add salt to taste. Now transfer the contents into a cooker with rice and coconut milk and cook.Garnish with fried cashewnuts. Serve hot with any side dish(with gravy) |
