Brinjal Masala
| Ingredients
Brinjal - 1/2 kg Groundnut - 3/4 cup Onions - 4 big Green chillies - 4 Tomatoes - 4 Aniseed - 2 tsp Poppy seed - 1 tsp Garlic - 4 flakes Red chilli powder - 2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Salt - To taste Oil - 10 tsp Garnishing: Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup(chopped) |
Method:
1. Heat kadai fry groundnut. Grind groundnut, aniseed,poppy seed, garlic, redchilli powder, turmeric powder. Keep this masala seperately. 2. Stuff this masala inside the brinjal. 3. Heat oil in a kadai fry onions, green chillies and add tomatoes, salt to it. Finally add the stuffed brinjals in it and allow it to cook. 4. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with chapati or rice. |
